Frequently Ask Questions about our Wedding DJ Service

How Do You encourage People to get out on the Dance Floor? A packed, energetic dance floor doesn't just happen by chance—it’s the result of great planning, the right music, and most importantly, your presence. Be engaged, be visible, and we’ll take care of the rest. If there’s one thing we could tell every couple, it’s this: You are the center of attention your guests will follow your lead. When you're on the dance floor, your energy is contagious—guests naturally want to be where the action is. But if you choose to spend your evening outside by the fire-pit or chatting at a table, don’t be surprised if the dance floor half full. Simply put: if you want a fun, packed dance floor, be a part of it and stay present and visible. However; if you truly have two left feet, it’s important to greet your guests, but try not to get pulled into long conversations at one table all night. Circulate. Laugh. Dance. Let people see that you’re enjoying yourself. The more fun you’re having, the more everyone else will follow suit.

What is included in your Ceremony Package? Your choice Ceremony music, Prelude music as guests are arriving. Processional, Unity music, Recessional Music, and Lapel Microphone worn by your Officiate.

What is included in your Reception Package? Cocktail Hour Music, Grand Formal Introductions, Easy listening Background Dinner Music, Cordless Microphone for Toast, Master of Ceremony for all the Fun Activities and your Choice of Dancing Music, plus State of the Art Digital Sound System,

Will your equipment require power for our outside Ceremony? No, Whether your Ceremony is out on the veranda, in the rose garden or by a beautiful lake with a fountain as your backdrop we have a perfect portable battery powered system which requiring no external power.

Do you provide microphones for our Ceremony and Reception? Yes to both questions. Your Ceremony package includes a lapel microphone for your Officiate. Additional microphones for readers or singers can be included. Your Reception package includes a cordless microphone for toasts.

Can we customize a music play-list for our Ceremony and Reception? Absolutely! We work closely with you to create a personalized play-list that reflects your style including music for the Ceremony, Cocktail hour, Dinner, and Dancing.

Will you take song requests from guests during the event? Absolutely! We encourage clients to allow us to take song request. We understand that everyone has their favorite tunes, and loves the music they grew up with. We want to make sure the music reflects the diverse tastes of your friends and family.

What is your policy on playing explicit versions of songs? Songs in our library are categorized by content. Clean - (suitable for any age) Radio Edit - (words substituted, probably ok for all ages) Edited - (words eliminated 18 or older) Risqué - (18 or older) Sexual undertones Heavy Edited - (too edited to play) Explicit - (We strongly advise against playing Explicit songs at weddings with parents, grandparents, and children in attendance, as they can be highly inappropriate)

Can we provide a “Do Not Play” list? Definitely! We love focusing on the music you love, but we also respect your "Do Not Play" list. Whether it’s specific songs or entire genres, we’ll make sure they’re left out so your celebration sounds exactly how you want.

What if a guest request a song on our do not play list? This occasionally happens. We are polite and thank them for the request and explain it is on your do not play list. We ask them to think of another song they would like to dance to. Sometimes we suggest a song from the same artist we know everyone can dance to.

Can you edit/trim songs to a particular starting point for our Ceremony? Yes we can. This sometimes happens when there is a long intro to the song and you had rather the song start further in. If while trimming we have made the song to short we can loop the song thereby extending it.

Do you attend the rehearsal? Yes. We can attend your rehearsal with our sound system and your selected music. The fee is $200.00 plus travel mileage.
